Miss Bikini World Australia 2009 National WINNER SAMANTHA LEE

Hundreds of screaming revellers gathered to watch the WA based physical trainer receive the towering crown.

Ms Lee, 22, of Fremantle, was chosen from the 32 finalists who gathered from across the country to contest the competition. The brunette bombshell said it was overwhelming to win the competition.

Ms Lee is not new to the modelling stage and was a national finalist for Miss Universe recently.

Ms Lee has picked up a $25,000 prize package and a spot in the global finale of Miss Bikini World which is expected to be in China.

Hollie McGowan took out second place, and Territorians Allina Leal and Christine Watts took out third place and Miss Friendship respectively.

Miss Israel 2009 - 19-year old Adi Rodnitzki is Israel's Queen of Beauty

Adi Rodnitzki (center), a 19-year old soldier, was crowned Miss Israel 2009 during an event held at the Haifa Convention Center on March 18th. Adi is 1.71 m tall and will compete at the Miss World 2009 pageant in Johannesburg, South Africa, next December.

The 1st runner-up, also crowned Israel's Maiden of Beauty, was Yulia Liubianitzki (left). She is 20 years old, 1.76 m tall and will represent the country at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in The Bahamas, next August.

Miss Bulgaria 2009 - Pageant takes place after 2 years

24-year old Antonia Petrova (2nd left), a student and model from Pernik, was crowned Miss Bulgaria 2009 at the beauty pageant held on March 14th at the Rainbow Plaza in Sofia. Petrova is 1.80 m tall and will represent her country at the Miss World 2009 pageant in Johannesburg next December.

The 1st runner-up, crowned Miss Bulgaria Universe, was 18-year old Elitsa Lubenova (left). The 1.70 m beauty from Dve Mogili will compete at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in The Bahamas next August.

Other winner were Ruslana Kaneva (2nd runner-up, off to Miss Beauty of the World) and the 3rd runner-up was Polina Gergusheva (off to Miss Tourism Planet of the World).

Diana Arno was name Eesti Miss Estonia 2009

Eesti Miss Estonia 2009 Beauty Pageant elected from among the three persons in Tallinn on March 12th, 2009. In final a beautiful Diana Arno, who 25 year-old in 1.81 m height, was chosen Miss Estonia 2009. The 1st runner-up was Sille Liisi Eving (left). And the 2nd runner-up was Julia Lindvall (right). Diana Arno will represent Estonia at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in the Bahamas.

Mumbai Girl Sophia Handa is Gladrags Mrs India 2009

A springhtly girl from Mumbai who looked a winner from the start has walked away with the Gladrags Mrs India award for 2009 which concluded in Mumbai. Celebrity judges Mahima Chaudhry, Neetu Chandra, Sonu Sood and Maureen Wadia, president of Gladrags Beauty Pageants quizzed finalists at what was a glamourous grand finale of India's only pageant for married women. SUNSILK MISS SOUTH INDIA 2009

The 8th edition of Sunsilk Miss South India 2009 was held on 10th March at Chennai Trade Centre. There was a total of 16 final contestants out of which 4 were the finalists. Ms DEEPA (Karnataka) won the title while JESMINE (Karnataka) , Sowmiya (Anthara) titled as 1 st Runner up, 2 st Runner up respectively

Femina Miss India East 2009 Comes to an End

The City of Joy witnessed the eagerly awaited Grand Finale of the most prestigious and credible beauty pageant Pantaloons Femina Miss India East (PFMIE) 2009. Femina Miss India took a step forward in 2009 by introducing the East focussed pageant for the first time. Who would be the first one to win the prestigious PFMIE title was the question on everyone's mind. The announcement of the winners came amidst a glittering star-studded ceremony at the NICCO Park.

Miss Germany 2009 - Doris Schmidts

The Miss Germany 2009 beauty pageant was held on Saturday February 14 at Europa Park in Rust, Germany. The winner of the contest was Doris Schmidts.

Schmidts bested 22 other rivals to take the crown. The 20 year old student is from Karlsruhe and entered the pageant as the reining Miss Baden Wurttemberg.

She said, "I will represent Germany with charm and hard work. I am so happy that I won."

And if things were not ironic enough, the agency in charge of sending the German delegate to Miss Universe lost the franchise this year, so there's the possibility that for the first time since 1952, Germany won't compete in the international pageant.
